Recently, a large segmental head formed by Shenzhou has successfully passed customer’s inspection and acceptance.The elliptical head with Inside Diameter 13,800mm, thickness is 104mm which used for the core unit of 2.6 million tons/year aromatics joint unit of Refinery integration Project. Once completed, the project will be the largest aromatics reactor in the world.
After receiving the order, the project team has been drawing up production plan and ITP comprehensively to ensure each process was qualified in one time. During the production process, the top crown of the head were successfully formed by cold forming under room temperature which has greatly shortened the delivery time.
